Fair play if you can get away with it though!

Here's a question I asked SL in her slot (pardon the pun).... If you had the choice of Scotland being merged into England and becoming a united Country under the name of England, or Arsenal winning The European Cup, which would you choose and why.....

To be fair,Im not allowed to stay at her gaff and on the rare occasion when I am allowed to stay I sleep in the 'spare beedroom'. When in actual fact I just mess about the covers to look like ive slept there and kip in with geraldine ;)

Quite obviously arsenal winning the european cup. I like the fact that were our own country and the international football rivalry that comes with it. Plus,Im doing you lot a favour becuase I think we both know that if rangers came down south then we would easily win the premiership withing our first few seasons ;)

It's title is 1984

You must be confusing it with the year you read it at school. ;)

You've had a tickle on the lottery and you're taking Geraldine out for dinner.

Which type of restaurant do you go to and what do you order?

I just popped in to waterstones and asked for 1986. The guy looked at me and said "surely you mean 1984, sir?"....

The words: " Rodney! You taarrt!" comes to mind.

Anyways, they don't have it. Popular school reading text. Which surprises me. Thought they'd be reading Harry Potter and Lord OF the Rings nowadays.

What's your most embarrassing moment? :P

Funny you mention that becuase that moment was probably last night...
I know to be quite the sleepwalker but last nights episode was by far the worse...

So me and geraldine were happily sleeping in my bed when out of nowhere I decided to jump up outta my bed like a bat out of hell and launched myself onto my cabinet and started jumping back and forward between this and my bed.
Geraldine(bless her) started screaming at the top of her voice waking up the full house in the process. My mum and dad come running in shouting 'did he hit you' :dizzy: whilts Im still in a state of total madness in my sleep. But I take a wrong step and slip between my cabinet and bed and batter my shin and forearm off my bed in the process nearly breaking them and my dad grabbs me,slaps my on the face to wake me up for me to be sitting on my bed with my 'rents, sister and her bf and geraldine all looking at me and my room in a total state and me not having a cluie whats just happend until I was told!!

this is hilarious... :rofll:

In a local pub, which was actually crammed full on sctoaldn fans and the only way to descirbe it when that ball hit the back on the net was simply pandemonium! Gives me goosebumps just thinking about it

@ Libertine: I'd take her to kfc. Buy a family bucket with extra frys and tell her to batter in...
But in the real world I would probably take her up to some resturaunt in Aston Lane in glasgow. Its a nice area full of cool resturaunts and bars.
Ive always fancied lobester so I would order that, but only if I got to rip it apart myself! ;)

Can't say that I've even heard of it to be honest! Although, isn't there a film out about it and its about football hoolagnism?

Yes - there is a film of the book, no its not about footy hooliganism and i have been recomending said film to Ab Fab in general chit chat. Am sure the older members of the forum will back me up here - EVERY Arsenal fan should see the film or read the book (or both...)
