Also what colour of skittle do you favour?

Yeah, I write mate. I like things that really make you think, plays on words, nuances, and real emotional impact.
Also, there's a lot of truth in the term "write what you know" - You can only write honestly and fully about something you've experienced yourself

I know I keep banging on about them, but that's the reason Coheed and Cambria are my favourite band. Other influences include Tool, and non metal influences like Peter Gabriel.

Skittles have flavours? I thought they were all just "fruit" flavour :sundae:

No there is different flavours not to mention sour skittles.

Do you do those double meaning songs? My Mrs has this big song that I thought was a love story gone wrong but it was about cocaine.

Yeah mate, we're putting the finishing touches to a song that all the way through you think is about a guy writing a love letter to his "significant other", which turns out to be a suicide note all along

Fin eh? :dontknow: :P

Thats the kinda song I like, I love that double edged-ness of it, I'd love to hear it when it's all finished mate.

Yeah, to me, music is all about making you think and reflect.

This one's for Ade, since you like songs with double meanings.

This is an incredible song by a band that is very dear to me : Marillion.

The song is acoustic, and starts in a very sweet "love song" sort of way.

I'd be interested to know what your take on it is, because I know the real meaning of the song, and it's most definitely not a love song!

Ive got a photograph
I took a picture of you
I took your photograph in front of my favourite view

You play the part so well
You look so sure and free
No one could ever tell that you belong to me

And cause you lie so well
Ive got to pin you down
Under lock and key
So you will always be in my in my collection

If you cant speak you cant lie
If you cant run and you cant hide
I know a place you cant die
So no one lives inside
My collection

I want to capture you
I want to immortalize
The way you play with your hair
The way you flash your eyes

I taste the air you breathe
I taste the food you eat
I keep your nails and hair
And some of the clothes you wear

If you cant speak you cant lie
If you cant run you cant hide
And if youre dead you cant die
So no one lives inside
No one lives inside
My collection

Ive got some photographs
Id like to show them to you
though you dont know the girls
Youll recognize the view...

If you could go back in time to a specific era in history, which one would you choose.

Do you play football? If yes, what position.

Anything you say can and will be used aginst you in a court of law :hiding:

That's a tough one mate. I've always fancied the medieval lifestyle, castles and whatnot, but it would be fantastic to live in a sort of frontier, wild west era. Mostly because I like guns :sneaky:

I used to play football when I was at Uni ('keeper), but haven't played for a while, since I had a really bad injury playing rugby :hiding:

I fractured the 2nd and 3rd vertebrae of my spine.

Sounds a lot worse than it was, and I suffer no ill effects now, but it put me out of action for a while, and now my commitments are to the band :1970_two_smileys_drinking_beer_together.gif:

Have you ever been charged with a crime?

If so, what was it?

Never been caught mate ;)

Nearly got busted with weed a few times at Uni, and I once got into a brawl which resulted in me standing over two guys with a broken chair in my hands, and miraculously escaped the long arm of the law.

I've done lots of shady stuff whilst on tour too, but nothing that can be traced back to me :P
