If you were stuck on desert island and could only have one thing, what would it be.

Well it was either that or a harrier jump jet, I figured the helicopter would be easier to learn...

We get both extremes... cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Goes from highs of 15-20 F in January to 90 in August. Not funky though, it's a nice little town.

I think what Inch was refering to was the song by Tone Loc called "Funky, Cold, Medina". ;)

Mohammed isn't buried in Ohio now is he?

It's MedIna here. You will not meet a person from NE Ohio that says "Medeena".

Anyhow, I've just never heard it said any other way... very rarely anyhow and when it is said the other way, you know that person isn't from the area.

We used to get so mad when we'd go to marching band competitions (shut up, I'm a band geek) outside of Western NY and people would mispronounce our town name. Sometimes all 160+ of us would shout out the correct pronunciation and they'd get all embarrassed and correct themselves.
