Posted: Mon Apr 07, 2008 6:17 pmYour name: Raman VikramAdith. Raman is my father's name, and VikramAdith is my name, so my last name is my first name according to the Western system. And yes, I capitalise the 'A' in VikramAdith. Childhood habit.
Age: 23 in a few days
Location: India! My hometown is up in the mountains of Ooty (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ooty), one of India's most famous tourist spots. I currently live in Bangalore (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bangalore), the techo-capital of the country.
Height: 178 cm. Little over 5' 10''.
What do you do for a living: I'm a code monkey in geek speak, software developer in normal parlance.
Why do you support Arsenal: Terrible reason, I'm afraid. When I was real young, I used to play a game where Arsenal were the best team, so I had a slight fondness for the name. Later on, I started following them in the papers as they were an underdog side I liked. Then I was captivated by their stylish play during the era of Henry, Pires and Freddie, and that turned me into a football fan, and a deep red Gooner.
Favourite player: Cesc Fabregas. Sheer brilliance!
Ideal holiday location: Ashburton Grove! With a ticket for an Arsenal match!
Where would you most like to live: I'm happy where I am. It's a housing development surrounding a golf course. Pretty cool.
Favourite drink: Tea. That's what my hometown is famous for.
Favourite food: Ittu (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ragi_mudde) with sandage (obscure, even to wikipedia).
If you could meet someone from history, who would it be: Adolf Hitler. I wonder if he'd have withstood a blast of rationalism.
Who from the board would you most like to meet: The more the merrier. Let's have an all-member party. I'm sure anyone who turned up would be a blast to hang out with.
If your house was on fire, what possession would you run to grab first: My laptop. No contest there.
If you won the lottery, what would you do: I'm a major miser, so the only thing I can think of doing with a lot of money is flying to London to watch the mighty Arsenal!
