The downside is the fans of his current club are happy to see the back of him. And if Tierney gets injured early in the season he could be playing 30 games for us.
I dunno, I just dont care about stuff like this. Most of us are happy to see talented players on our own squad leave but that doesnt mean they wont be effective elsewhere. My eyes see an athletic and talented kid with potential. Not sure who a better alternative is for that kind of price.

I'm not suggesting there isn't a chance that Tavares could grow up and redeem himself, but why are we signing Liga Nos's most notorious enfant terrible, whilst simultaneously—and at all cost—axing difficult personalities? Where's the consistency from our authoritarian manager?
