1-0HT

Dead game

Neither look that good. Nothing for European boys to worry about in Qatar next year.

Great finish for the goal only quality we've seen.

Di Maria has put in more Ballon D'Or worthy performances for his teams over the years than Neymar has. Hard to believe he's 33.

Has Edu spotted anyone at Copa? Or are his so called South American connections bogus?

He was the key man in the semi-final and final, not Messi.
Pleased for both of them, though.
I think it was important for Messi to break the international duck.

Oh God, this entire tournament has been such a nerve-wracking experience. Every game has been so exhausting—just to watch. I found myself so drained after every Argentina match. :P

Really can't put it in words. Amazing performances by the entire squad. Of course, Messi is Messi but by God, Rodrigo de Paul was GOAT-tier in midfield. Creativity and work-rate—all in one package. And, Emi Martínez! Man just bullied Colombia out of the Euros and came up with a world class save in the final. The way he leads from the back and organizes the defense... Something else. :hail:

Feel so much for di Maria too. Him, Messi, and Aguero have been through so much with the national side. They deserve it so much.

I really don't know what else to say. It's happened. La Albiceleste whopped that ball-candy ass at the Maracanã. That's all.

And...

^ funniest thing of the entire tournament (in a pathetic way) was Neymar wandering around looking for cameras to cry into at the end of the game.
Hilarious.
Glad Argentina won.

Didn't even watch the trophy presentation.

Funny though, Messi 17 years a Barca player, absolute dog for country

One week a free agent, Copa America winner
