Expect most clubs to forfeit and take a default 3-0 loss as it would look better than whatever mental scoreline that team would dish out

Until he's unveiled at another club, no one believes he will leave

Barca's top earners excluding Messi:

They couldn't offload any of these players. Messi had agreed to take a 50% pay-cut.

Bartomeu screwed them big time. At this stage, one really can't blame Laporta or the players. However, Laporta ran on extending Messi's deal, cleaning the mess, and signing Haaland. Of course, it takes time, but he's not the saint most Barca fans would want you to believe.

It's also proven that Messi generates more revenue for Barcelona than he takes in wages.

They had an option between signing Messi in a new deal, or forgoing any future involvement in a super league. They opted for the latter. Accto Madrid's court, all 12 founding members are still officially part of the super league.

Make what you want of that.

I heard Barca cannot register their new signings or pay them until they slash the budget.

Surely there's a couple of players we can nab on the cheap?

With Messi leaving, they can balance the budget. There's also some talk that Barca, Real and Juve will continue with ESL in some capacity. They need a big TV rights deal to financially restructure.

The renovated Bernabeu is going to be an absolute beaut. Can't wait for the announcements of Mbappe, Haaland, and Pogba at the grand opening of the finished product next summer :cloud9:

I sure hope Koeman doesn't get fired. I think he's done well :(
