But in all seriousness, I don't think any head coach would survive failing to advance past the CL group stage. Playing in the EL would be a massive insult to Madridistas.

Vini finally did a thing <3 Shame Luka was a toenail offside. And Rodrygo goodness gracious whew. Militao looks like he's going to be a good one. And Fede has been impressive.

Real Madrid is back at the top of the table. Not too shabby for a club in crisis. Sucks for the rest of La Liga though. If there was ever going to be a Leicester-type season, this was the one since Real is transitioning from the legendary old guard, Barca is transitioning away from being Messidependencia, and Atleti is also rebuilding.

I have to say this now.

I know Barca won vs Getafe but they are shit now. Because Messi ain't there they just look an ordinary side, if football werent so broken and every La Liga club bar them, Madrid and Atletico weren't broke they would be in serious trouble.

I'v really not enjoyed much of anything in La Liga so far. This league is shit. We are basically seeing the Top 3 being pulled slowly back into sea of average, village sides. They have literally become what they where in the late 90s early 2000s era.

The most upsetting things is there still aren't many better sides in world football which shows the state of things for football in 2019. I'm out of words to describe this mess these days. Its just apathy.

Barca are a mid-table side without Messi right now.

Real still have a stellar side. Atleti is Atleti.

Since 17/18, City more or less have been the strongest team/have the best squad in Europe.

On paper, PSG arguably have the most talented front three. Liverpool have the most dangerous attack.

The top-5 clubs in terms of squad strength would be City, Juve, PSG, Real, and Liverpool—ideally in that order. Liverpool have a terrific starting 11, but a mediocre squad, however.

A little strong but i agree with the sentiment, they are our / Everton level without Messi. City are a much better team overall. Although they like PSG are so plastic, there is little wow factor regarding their team. Pep is a privileged silver spoon manager, he's awesome at creating a indomitable league team and winning by dominating games every week vs predominately weaker opponents, but he continues to fail in the Champions League when not bailed out by Messi or Iniesta all those years ago.

Klopp and Poch are much better than Pep for me. I personally can't wait for a super league, these big teams have broken football beyond repair, the financial gap is far too big. I don't enjoy watching any teams right now in La Liga! Sevilla, Bilbao & Valencia while being some of the stronger teams are crap! they are dull midtable EPL sides with a little bit more personality.

TV companies are fools! They still don't quite get you have created now a paradigm where the masses only watch full matches for about 10 teams in world football and apart from the EPL there is zero demand to see anything else because its shit and few people bar those who support those teams care.
