Now up to 3rd after a nightmare start and only 5 points behind Barcelona.

That's a sizeable gap after only 9 games.

It's not like Barca could be much further ahead, they've won every game so far bar one draw.

It is tbf, but Real could claw back to within 2 points on December 20 with a win. Of course, this is assuming no slip ups between either club between now and then, which is unreasonable. Still a long season ahead though—a lot can happen in 29 games.

Well without the GOAT for the first 4 games it's not bad. The Betis result was the real killer in his first game back, that was disgusting.

They have the clasico's to claw back 6 points if necessary so always a chance when within that range. Still finding their stride this season though.

A team who have never played in La Liga before currently beating Real Madrid.

Ronaldo is finished in regular League games. He's averaging 0.2 goals p/90 in the League this season, probably the worst numbers he's ever had. by comparison, messi is averaging 1.2 goals p/90 and averaging more assists too

Zidane, if he has a job by the next round of CL games, should only use him in the big games from now on, he cant do it on a regular basis anymore
