Good shift from him hope he ousts Leno.

Yes, pretty commanding and assured display today. Leno definitely needs to stary from the bench.

Good game from him, very confident keeping in the box. Didn't have to make many saves though.

Had nothing to do but good to see a reliable back up keeper

Looks a class above Leno.
Hopefully, Arteta sees some sense and makes him Number 1.
The only way we go out to Villareal is with another Leno clown moment.

I thought that was a very confident and assured display from the Aussie, really good to see and should go some way to securing a permanent switch to us.

If he has the capacity within himself to improve in all aspects by eeking out a further 15% driven by determination and sheer will to have his name stenciled gold after Mad Jens on our roll of honours board, then we'd have our top notch keeper to rival if not better those at Liverpool, City, United, Atletico and Bayern.

However, whilst forever remaining the eternal optimist, I would love to finally praise and acclaim Ivan Gazidis for benefiting Arsenal in the event of our recruiting Gianluca Donnarumma in a few weeks time confident in the knowledge that Ryan as his back up will do an A1* job but more importantly, be striving to emulate Emi Martinez and maximise his own opportunity when it presents itself. That represents a win win situation to me.

Did what he had to do well today, good thing about Ryan is that he's an arsenal fan and will give his all for the team, definitely worth signing permanently in the summer.

I liked his performance but you guys need to chill, it was one game and he wasn't really tested apart from one or two times when he did well. When he performs like this in 10 games then we can talk

Agree.

Leno may be the better shot stopper (not sure yet) but Mat just seems like he has less fk ups in him, he's more assured.

Leno just seems like another big name who has clown habits, we've had too many clowns in this team ruin games.

We need to get rid of them all.

Sell Leno, buy Martinez back or someone, I know Martinez would love to come back.

Why are we not signing him? He was cheap as chips and a solid keeper
