The shit show during Brasil/Argentina. :rofll:

The players who've been to England had to quarantine apparently. But then, there was an agreement between CONMEBOL and national federations that football players were exempt from this.

Still, it makes no sense to wait until the match begins to come and arrest the four players.

Clown show.
Although, hopefully, the 4 players are detained for weeks - or at least the 2 Spurs ones.

After Argentina beat Brazil at Brazil to win the Copa America, Brazil didn't want any more embarrassment. So, to save themselves from the misery of Messi breaking Pele's record against Brazil, in Brazil, they formulated this sophisticated plan.

Surely the players should be banned for this?

Four match domestic ban for spurs players, six match domedtic ban for villa players :sneaky:

As I mentioned earlier, there was a special ordinance in place that allowed players to bypass local quarantine laws.

Now, the issue is that this isn't a South American tournament. The match was played under FIFA's jurisdiction. Plus, CBF allowed this exemption for players, so Brazil's health regulatory agency, ANVISA, is acting on its own directive above CBF.

Ach getting it wrong how surprising - CONMEBOL had received written exemptions for all competition players - Brazil health officials broke that agreement. If CONMEBOL had any balls they would award Argentina 3 points, bet they bottle it and arrange a replay.

Have to laugh at the officials coming on the pitch to stop the game.

It's like one of those wedding scenes when someone stands up and objects.

FIFA has opened proceedings against both CBF and AFA.
