His shirt from the 1986 'hand of god' game sold for £7m today.

It was owned by Steve Hodge, who managed to get it off him in the tunnel after the game.

Hodge wouldn't have got his money then.

I remember that world Cup well. Hodge and Sansome were terrific on that left side.

I think when the British went out on a shooting party and bagged the Belgrano even though it wasn't in the theatre of war that was the most elite moment of shithousery in sport history. Like shooting a pheasant even though it's actually in a zoo
