The goalkeeper was George wood
Who played for us from 80 to 83
He was brought as a possible successor to Jennings from Everton
I saw him have an absolute stormer against us for Blackpool in a league cup tie a few years Earlier but I have to say he was probably the worse keeper I ever saw play for us.
He was a second half sub for Scotland against Argentina in 1980.
One of the forwards was Frank Stapleton who played for Man Utd v Barcelona in the cup winners cup in 1984
The other forward was David suker
Who played with maradona at Sevilla in 92/93
And against him for Croatia v Argentina in 1994

^ Because he's the best to have ever laced those pair of boots.

Not only is he the greatest ever, he's also the first global superstar in football.

:hiding:

Pele is and was Pele.

Maradona, I'd say, is football's first rockstar, superstar, phenom, myth, and demigod. Perhaps the only.

A life worth living. A story worth hearing. A tale worth telling.

Why Barcelona and not Napoli?

Bigger draw I would suspect.

Pele has made a lot of money endorsing viagra.

Such a shame. All those finals and these days he can barely manage a semi.

Surely it should be about Maradona though and he's better known for his antics at Napoli.
