There isn't going to be a price tag.

United aren't dealing with West Ham, they're dealing with the agent, so there won't be an actual transfer fee involved.

Yep.
He'll be no-more United's player than he was West Ham.

Last i saw in the Evening Standard, the deal stands at:
United pay Kia Joorabchian £10m for the guarantee of Tevez playing for 2 seasons at Old Trafford, with an option of buying him at the end of those 2 seasons.
KJ has to pay West Ham £2m to settle the court action the he brought (and lost) against them last week.

I can see it getting to the end of this season, with Joorabchian trying to move the player onto another club (Madrid/Barcelona) and another summer of legal wrangling taking place!

I'm just glad that we never got involved with trying to sign the lad!

Coronavirus: Footballers can live for six months without getting paid, says Tevez

This is a guy who grew up as the poorest of poor in the slums of Buenos Aires.

There's no trade off for greed in today's world.

Carlos Tevez, take a bow.

Much respect to Tevez. His comments might have been about the Argentinian league, but obviously applies to European soccer as well where salaries are probably 5x higher if not more.

"
We are not in the same despair as those who live with kids every day, who have to leave their house at six in the morning and return at seven in the evening to feed the family.

"We are not an example in this case; yes in other things. We have to be there and help. It is easy for me to speak from home, knowing that I have food for my children.

"But desperate people, who cannot move and cannot leave the house. That is worrying."
