Fascinating that mate
I saw him score against us for Everton once
I went up there with the travel club
Twice in consecutive weeks
Fa cup 3rd round they beat us 2-0 real shock
We hadn't lost a cup tie outside the final for 4 years
He didn't play in that though
The following week I was up there for a league game
Terry Neil wielded a big stick after that cup defeat dropping Talbot , oleary , Sunderland and rix
Bringing in paul davis, Steve walford, Paul vaessen and Brian McDermott
So we didn't exactly travel with high hopes
Okeefe put them in front about 10 mins after half time
Steve gatting equalised with a quarter of an hour left
Then in the last minute up popped vaesen bless him with the winner
We were well happy but it was cold comfort
We were all about the fa cup then
That's why it stands out
He played a couple of times for Everton against us at Highbury as well in the early 80,s

Fascinating, you always suspected there was a dark side to those Saudi princes and now we all know.

Become a rent boy and live like a King forever or defy them and face life as an obscure common man? Rather perplexing question.

I spent a bit of time in the Middle East back in the 80s, and the ex-pats there told me that homosexuality was fairly common with the locals, and among younger men particularly.

It was mostly about not being able to form relationships with females because of the strict customs surrounding women.
