Live look at Ang:

Don't see how Argentina can get past Brazil in the semis. And that's if they beat Venezuela first...

What is it with Argentina, though? All the attacking talent in the world on paper, but no coach has been able to put it together. Even as WC runners-up, they only mustered 8 goals in 7 games.

Because the players are cowards pretty much

Messi is too autistic to have a giant ego, and he’s not a leader either

The rest of them have no backbone and just seek to give it to him with no ambition to build play themselves

Ronaldo does it with inferior players because 9 times out of 10 he’ll be on the end of the recieving ball, they have a system to work it to him

With Argentina - and Messi at Barca; he does everything. He’s the best creator and best finisher at both club and country, so they just give it to him

They need a manager with a backbone just to tell Messi to drop deep only when a creator is struggling. They lack real ball progressers in midfield so it’s literally him doing it all

The Argentina FA is a shambles. They’re broke (Messi’s had to pay the staff numerous times), clueless and wasted the best player of all time with horrific managerial appointments

It’s always been Leo and one of Di Maria or Mascherano helping him, the fact they’ve even reached a World Cup final with the state they’re in is miraculous

He was out in the semi final even though he scored the opener against Wales? Also there was a reason he was targeted by the French, a dirty tactic that unfortunately worked...his knee troubles almost kept him from the Euros in the first place.

At least check the facts bro

Anyone watching the shootout?

Firmino's penalty. :rofll:

And as I type this González also puts it wide ffs.

Shame considering Paraguay managed to hold on despite being down to 10 men for more than half an hour.

Jesus has been woeful since as far back as I remember. Only poetic that he was the one to score the winning penalty.

Lel. If City's owners hadn't intervened, Pep wanted to sell Aguero and wanted Jesus to be his main man.

That's the third 0-0 snoozefest in 2 days of Copa America football.

Peru haven't registered a single shot on target all game but eliminate Uruguay after a PS.

All for underdog stories but man, this edition has been underwhelming so far.
