Big celebrations going on in France right now for their world cup triumph.

Thank god Giroud saved the day for them. Would of put a downer on things.

2-0. Lukaku.

But judging by the logic in the Giroud thread, Lukaku still hasn't done anything relevant so it doesn't count. As you were.

Yes the one Lukaku scored goals in playing for a country that's never done anything on the world stage. And took them to their best ever finish.

How did Giroud do individually seeing as we are comparing players and not teams?

Take your time.

How did Giroud do?

Oh, he only brought out the best in Mbappe and Griezmann that led them to the world cup which is why he's actually holding it.

Lukaku scored 2 against the sensational Costa Rica, Panama & Tunisia and flopped in the big games which is why Giroud is holding the world cup and Lukaku is still yet to win anything major than a domestic cup. Lovely stuff.

But but stats. They win you world cups don't they :rofll:

So no goals then?

Thank you. I rest my case.

The fact you think he flopped in the big games obviously means you didn't watch the Belgium v Brazil game where he was the best player on the pitch but you stick to your no goals is better than actual goals logic. If it floats your boat then who am I to argue?

Have a good evening
