Hope there's a buy-back clause in case he comes good.

Yep, looked promising when he did first get into the team. Injuries haven't helped but hasn't progressed how he should've.

Wish him the best and hopefully he'll come back one day as a top player.

Reports than Monaco are set to sign him for €20 - €22 mill.

Lille already had a bid of €10 M rejected.

Against advice of youth coaches, Emery told the club he was surplus to requirements in the summer. Left for less than €2mill.

We sold him for less than the £2.25 we bought him for, ffs.

So a player who under Arsene Wonger made just 8 appearances in three seasons, was then loaned by Wonger to Angers in January 2018 and who subsequently signed for Angers in July 2018 ... that all The Don's fault?

Sure Emery was the manager who gave JRA the bad news "He told me that the club did not rely too much on me. I took a blow, but Angers were on the lookout. It was a new chance, a new beginning. The train does not pass often and I was happy to get back in the right car.”

But don't rewrite history, letting Jeff Reine-Adelaide go was another in a long line of mistakes, Gnaby 4.5m, Szczesny 10m ... but that policy was clearly Wonger and Gazidis (who was still in charge when JRA left) and not all down to the Don .... feckin' agendas on here are getting beyond a joke .....

Unai assessed him in pre season and decided he wasn’t good enough. Not sure how else you can look at it tbh .

I guess we should thank Arsene for Aubameyang too

Or not as Wenger lost control of the transfers during his last season in charge

Apparently, Wenger didn't want to give Ozil that mammoth £350k deal too.

I think the last Wenger signing was Lacazette.

Hearing he was close to signing a new deal last summer before being sent out on loan to a Championship club. However, Unai Emery instructed the board to sell him following pre-season, deeming him surplus to requirements.

Sold for EUR 1.5 Million. A season later and he's being linked with a EUR 20 Million move to Dortmund, Lyon Milan etc.

Conflicting reports coming in that emery fought tooth and nail to keep him, but gazidis and Wenger (brought in on a consultancy basis) decided that it would be best to sell the player for as cheap as possible in order to avoid large profits being made for onward reinvestment.

When asked about the situation, stan kronke responded "what's a Jeff?".
