2018/19 UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread

This is our year, this is Emery's specialty and we won't have anyone stop us now.

In the meantime, looks like we won't get Greedebayor's team as they have go through Burnley or Aberdeen to progress. Meanwhile TNS have a serious chance of getting in the GS through this new route for CL dropouts. Because of the way it works out for some reason, Cork just have 1 tie to get through before getting in the GS (either going through the Scottish team who think they are Irish or Lord Bendtner's team)

Turning a 4-goal deficit around by scoring 8 in the second leg.

Mathematically the greatest comeback in EL history, surely?

They were also a man down when the score was 2-0

And they conceded 9 mins in to extra time meaning they had to score twice with 10 men

They scored 4 more

That match must've been crazy to be at.

8-1 is a thrashing but Minsk were close to going through.

In other news, Rangers and Burnley both through. Rangers play some Russian side next. Burnley have Olympiakos

I think Burnley's small squad will hamper their chances. Sooner or later if they progress they'll start having selection problems and they'll probably have to field a bunch of rookies just when they need experience

Shame that Burnley match wasn't on TV. I would have watched it.

Burnley have needed extra time in both their ties to get through and haven't scored that many. They'll probably go out to our Greek former CL rivals.

I'd love it if we do get one of the jock teams in our group.
