Use the Mkhitaryan situation as an excuse. Both teams refuse to play in solidarity and demand it be moved to Wembley. What are uefa going to do about it? Cancel the match and all that lovely money? Yeah right

This would be ideal. Sarri already expressed concerns that Chelsea have some friendly in the US scheduled before the final. He should be on board with something that could delay the final.

Put several big stadia in several big cities on alert. Job done.

At that stage this year I’d have nominated Paris or Lisbon.

Ridiculous to host it in a city that doesn’t have the infrastructure to cope with the crowds.

They can't big national stadia do not sit empty waiting for UEFA .... far better to base the decision around travel, accommodation and facilities. There are probably a dozen cities in Europe who could cope with 100,000 extra tourists and not even feel he squeeze ... then off course you have to address the problem of 'gouging' ... Madrid can cope with 100,000 EPL fans, there is no need for 1000% price increases in hotels and flights it's just exploitation ... UEFA should ban Madrid from holding any further finals for twenty years.

When London, Paris, Moscow, Berlin hold events hotel prices go up 5-10% it's just rip-off Spain and Italy who always screw the fans ...

Best solution if you cant get a hotel room....

1) Go to a night club

Or

2) Take a sleeping bag and sleep on the floor at the airport. Theyre open 24 hours

Or

3) Rent a car and sleep in it

People have no imagination. Its only one night ffs

No.3

Rent a space cruiser. Bring inflatable pillow and sleeping bag. Park in or near a monitored area like the parking near the stadium or shopping centre car parks.

It's like camping but actually more secure and warm plus theres not much to unpack and you can bugger off to another spot if something doesn't take your fancy.

No need accomodation is the easy part. Airbnb for an apartment well under £100 per night, central and close to the sea. Getting there via Tbilisi seems the cheapest relative way, and taking an overnight sleeper train to Baku.
Arsenal fans who hate other clubs more than Tottenham? Really!!

You do the math on who wins.

Jupp Heycknes - 7 trophies including the Champions League until then. Master tactician. Excellent man management. Amazing track record as a manager, as a player.

Roberto Di Matteo - Never won anything in his life until 2012. "No muh philosophy" peddler, no Plan A—let alone Plan B.

Football clubs are ready for additions to the calendar all season long due to the the cup knockout competitions. Clubs have to arrange big games with only a couple of weeks notice.

And these big cities have thousands of hotels and B&Bs .

You can't stop gouging, the spanish will always treat the English as cash cows. You'd have to have either the local government or EU stepping in to prevent it.

It’s not just the locations that take the piss either.

Flights from the UK to Madrid are usually around £160 return.

On 31st May they are around £750 return.

Absolute liberty.

Finals u have throw everything out the window. As the players are playing on different levels. It all depends on our big players vs theirs.
