This is what I'm saying.

In instantly erases the past six decades of failure and gives them bragging rights for eternity.

Even if we win 10 CLs they will always have won it first, was bad enough when Chelsea beat us to it.

They won the first ever double. No one cares as we've won multiple doubles since.

They won a European trophy before us. No one cares cos we are still more successful since then.

If they win the CL, no one will care as long as we do our thing.

People on here seem to care too much about spurs. I don't give a shit. If they win so be it. If we finish ahead of them in the league that's all I care about

You say you don't give a shit and don't care, but then say you care about where they finish in the league. So you do care in actuality. What if they win the league, would you care and why? We're not in the CL and they are, you should care about that too. Every time they win you should care, every time they get a trophy you should care, cause that is one step closer for them coming close to our success. So I really think you do care, but you're just being the normal Cripps and WUMING it up on this one.

A season of listening to them singing “we know what we are...” would be completely unbearable.

We should be taking Spurs' success, if they pull it off, as a counterexample to what City, Utd and Chelsea do every single year. It's not Leicester Mk 2, but I see it as a positive manager playing attacking football.

Kane and Alli are still diving dickheads tho

The FA only care about TV money, they don’t care about football clubs or their fans

If they weren't so short sighted, theyd understand that pulling a move like that would only increase the chance of having an all PL CL and PL finals.

You can't but that sort of publicity and status off the shelf. Plus they still get their matchday income because they can extend the season an extra week.

Not like we wont have to do some serious scheduling fuckeries just to fit in Qatar WC in the winter ffs.

Absolutely no reason not to other than laziness and impatience for money.

Would the pl do that?

PL and Eredevisie viewership isn't really comparable. You won't see Serie A or La Liga calling for this either. There are numerous broadcast agreements the FA has with networks across the world, all of whom expect a stable schedule so they can sell ads against the views.

Cancelling fixtures in NL makes sense since they have one CL spot max. EPL has 4, so theres no reason to coddle the top teams any more than they already are.

I get that we all hate Man City, but the hatred for Spurs should surpass even them.

There is a very realistic scenario of them reaching the Champions League final...

I cannot understate just how much of a disaster it would be for that to happen.

Ajax/Liverpool/Barcelona have to do everything they can to save football.

I don't hate man city
If the fortune of having a rich owner could happen to anybody I,m glad it happened to city
A club with good fans
Who have had some great players down the years and with a decent history
And best of all
They ain't man Utd
I can't stand them and everything their ip dip sky blue your successful I,l support you, fans stand for
