I didn't watch the game but reading a bit about it, it stated....................Liverpool were gifted a quite laughable penalty. Well that's unusual for the dippers to dive in the box. lol

It wasn't a dive, it was handball, and the laughable part was how dumb a Spurs players was

With the players we had during Wenger's reign its a tragedy we never won this competition.

We lost it because of Wenger, primarily... and Henry's missed chances.

Thank the Lord that Spurs did not win it. That would have been a lot to take.

This just shows how stupid you are.

Lehmann set a record for most consecutive minutes and matches without conceding a goal in the CL that season, a record that still stands.

He also saved Riquelme's last minute penalty to ensure we made it to the final.

Can’t believe how far back people’s memories go ....I struggle to remember what happened in the previous season!

Anyway, massive relief to see Liverpool put away the scum.....and thoroughly deserved win for them after their efforts in the past two seasons.

The downside is that they are going to have the money to strengthen and leave us even further behind. It worries me that we will never be able to compete again without a massive injection of cash, which I don’t really want either. :(
