There's nothing anybody can do about it. If you play yourself into a position where you've already qualified, you've earned the right to rest players. Both the UCL and the league made any argument against it pointless as soon as they brought in "squads". If players are named in the official European squad, then sorry, nothing you can say about it.

Stretched leg + studs showing + follow through = red regardless of whether the ball is touched first or not.

Didn't want to see either of them in the EL so I'm...pleased?

with 4 English teams going through again, I expect at least 2 to make it into the QFs.

Why? They get more money for better signings every round they get through, plus we've shown we can hang with Liverpool and beat Spurs?

Only good thing is they have more serious games to damage their league form but ideally they both would've fallen out as would United, City have their own Qatar money so who cares.

It's reported that UEFA planning changes for the CL in 2024

- Matches moved to the weekend
- Instead of 8 groups with 4 teams each it might be changed to 4 groups with 8 teams each

There is no facepalm smiley big enough for my opinion about it... greedy bastards.

It'll probably be divided between three or four different broadcasters too.
