I said it last season, I wanted to see less of the formation switching and tinkering but suspected it would continue. We didn't start with our strongest team but even with the tinkering and strategy to play a more tight and defensive game, we didn't even start Torreira who would have given way more energy to win the ball back.
Too negative, some will disagree but will react and agree once we've repeated this sort of thing after a few more bad results. Emery's record against top opponents and managers will continue to look poor if he doesn't snap out of this negative approach. We should have played to our strengths.
