You'd think Arsenal fans of all people would know this.

Since 2008 we’ve played Burnley 15 times. Lost once and drawn once. So maybe save the champagne for next weekend.

It must be even more grating given that it was the first time in 10 years (Wenger in charge for 8 of those) that weve won our first 2 games.

If I had one criticism of Emery this season it would be

*Dont play so much from the back and mix up the goal kicks more long and short,
Mixing it up will make it less easy to defend, I understand why he wants to invite their players so high up the pitch with the pace we now have up front, but playing every ball that way will become easy to read and defend.......in short mix it up man keep them guessing

alexafc12 wrote:My question is still the same. Scraping wins in our first 2 games against teams fighting relegation last year. Great result but a lot of the reason we’re struggling in these games is the managers tactics. Why are we trying to sit back and hold on to 1 goal lead with 20 mins left when it was obvious they couldn’t handle our attack. It’s wenger esque tactics in his final 2 seasons.

Premier league champions 14/15 Chelsea
Newcastle away lost 2-1
Burnley home drew 1-1

Next two games he needs to get the team balance right between youth and experience, offense and defense. L'POOL , Spurs will punish any shortcoming severely. Last year, he couldn't get it right.

We should beat spurs at home like we did last two seasons and Liverpool barely got past Southampton and couldn’t contain Ings and Pukki so far

We will see.

@alexafc, your lord Mislintat walked out on a good job at Arsenal to become TD at a 2nd division German club. Had nothing to do with Emery. You should start following Stuttgart if nutting over spreadsheets is more important to you than winning games.

Nothing more than a glorified scout who can't hold a candle to Raul
