Mess wrote:But how are you supposed to win when your players literally gift goals every single games, serious question. I'm not saying his tactics are stellar by any means but this squad gifts an astonishing numbers of goals. Klopp had the same problem in his first year at Liverpool (and no, i'm not comparing Emery to Klopp).

Then don’t buy Pepe and buy one or two centre backs?????????

I was on the fence before but my god. That was tragic.

Wouldn't be bothered if he left and Freddie took over. Don't think we would be worse.

Only an absolute moron support this manager. If we want top 4 he needs to go. But hey lets be superfans and waste this season on him. Because every manager deserve 2 season right? Pathetic

Footballs a funny game.

Came back from 2 down last game. Lost 2 goal lead this.

Entertaining game.

Emery lot of work to do as we knew but we aren't losing. Character is there.

I swear if anyone now comes out in this Spanish c***'s defense with the usual "he's playing with Wenger era" players, I'd figure out a way to deliver punches over the internet. This f***er has had a new team, and he's still f***ing up. Do not understand the Cebellos and Ozil subs. f***er.

I’ve defended Unai Emery.... but that was a bloody disgrace. however I think the collapse at the end of last season and the mentality of inviting pressure on this season is worrying. You can say its been individual mistakes but that all stems from the coach's mentality. In reality I think he should be finishing 3rd with the current squad. Any lower than 4th and there should be no complaints about his contract not being extended at the end of the season

Disgraceful.

Absolutely horrendous subs that killed all of our attacks.

With 30 mins left in the game, he decided to defend a 2-1 lead against a lowly Watford team.

Take off Ceballos???? REALLY?

Subs didnt even accomplish that because the team was getting battered for the next half hour with us having nothing on attack.

This man has no idea how to get his midfield right to control the game.

He keeps changing lineups every game and the players look lost.

He still does not realize what the strength of the team is and keeps being cowardly.

Our defense is still shambolic. Our midfield is all over the place. The team still has no identity under Emery.

The man is being a coward to save his job and it is holding the team back.

We won the two first matches as we should

Lost away at Liverpool, which im never happy about but last year we got sexually assaulted there. This year was an improvement

Drew against Spuds which, again, you always want to beat those c*** but a draw is ok

Results are all that ever matter.

So simmer down and enjoy the season, it gunna be a good one

As long as we win today, i agree with this sentiment. But if we don't pressure is on Emery.

Pressure is and should always be on the manager. One match isolated makes no difference win lose or draw.

Yes, yes it does.
