And if they get nobody you will again moan. Like I asked pages back, are we supposed to go and pay a big fee for jordi alba in January? Or 15m+ on some unknown Spanish/Brazilian left back who’s just as risky and could be on the bench when Tierney comes back?

Clear as day we need a left back as Kola can’t stay fit, they’re solving the problem trying to waste as little money as possible and will probs sell Kola in the summer if Kurzawa does ok. If not it’s a years wages and we look to move Kurzawa on anyway.

Can’t just go and spend 300m in January on overpriced players when we’re making a loss already. Emery f***ked this season so we have to do the best with what we have and a couple of loans / smart buys til summer.

It's not our fault the club are incapable of making the right signings is it? If you're happy with us buying 3rd choice proven crock, who a former scout of ours warns lacks hunger and whose own fans are happy to see the back off and continue to waste money just as we have for as long as I can remember then good for you, but those of us who want to see the club progress aren't.

We don't need a full back right now, Saka can play there and if we were to replace Kolasinac then let it be with someone decent who doesn't spend 75% of his time onthe treatment table (we've had enough of those over the year) and whose fans aren't happy to see the back of him.

The 300 million comment is nonsense sorry, you don't have to spend that to get quality players.

My question is why are there no defensive players suitable in the youth program, some one is clearly not doing their job.

Mavrapanos. The guy foisted on Wenger who has done nothing in two entire years. This new administration is a complete failure.

Keep the club afloat and not make a new signing for every injury we get?

f**k me it’s not f***ing football manager. Sometimes you have to deal with shit. Plus they’re trying to sign Kurzawa for left back and people are even moaning about that.

yeah, but thats because he has been terrible for last 2 years and has terrible attitude and not good defender at all. He is actually more hated and less rated by psg fans than us with mustafi

I have said this over and over, what is the point of our U23s if they are not able to come in and do a specialist job better than a first teamer being played out of position !!

Football genius Raul sold Krystian Bielik who’s been tearing it up at Derby. Muppet.

Sanllehi had 4 transfer windows since he joined the club.
We were in a desperate need of a rebuild after Wenger left.
Yesterday in the game against Olympiacos we had 3 players in the starting line-up that didn't already play under Wenger.
I excluded Dani since he won't be here next season anyway.

I think that sums up Sanllehi's time at Arsenal pretty well.

The issue is we still haven't spent big money on a CB or DM. Again defending set pieces and crosses costs us big time.

Not having a left winger or an attacking midfield that can score or assist has hurt us more.

We have two DMs in our books: Torreira and Xhaka.

It's not Sanllehi's fault—as lowly as I think of him—that Xhaka appears to be a darling of both Arteta and Unai.

A CB like van Dijk would solve many of our problems, but the major issue I see is our inability to attack fluidly. We can't get someone like van Dijk, for instance. We scored 74 goals in Wenger's final season. We scored 73 in Unai's first season. We are headed to the 55 goal mark this season.

The issue this season is lack of goals. We're not Atleti. We have to focus on scoring more goals.

We have Martinelli who's been a revelation so far. Sure, he's not mature enough to drag the wagon but he appears to be a prodigy.

As far as CAMs go, Barca, PSG, Juve, Real, and 'Pool do not play with specialist CAMs. City uses KdB as an ACM. When our striker has a meager 6 goals, you can't blame Ozil for not scoring.

It's a systematic problem. I didn't expect Arteta to win the EL this season, nor do I expect him to finish in the top-4. It's unrealistic. As a fan, I want us to win trophies, but it's unlikely we'd even reach the SFs of the FA Cup.

I'm not concerned about this season. It was a write-off the moment we decided to persist with Unai last summer. My problem with Arteta since his first few games has been his bizarre employment of subs. But he has time on his side. And, I hope he analyzes that and works on it this summer.

Martinelli has been great but he hasn't been great as a left winger. His best performances have been when played through the middle.

Liverpool may not play with an attacking midfielder but they have three forwards that can score and wingbacks that assist. But saying that they do have midfielders that contribute to the attack. Same goes for some of the other teams.

Ox - 7 goals
Wijnaldum - 4 goals.
Milner - 4 goals 4 assists.
Henderson - 3 goals 5 assists.

PSG
Draxler - 6 assists
Verratti - 6 assists

Juve
Bentancur - 7 assists
Pjanic- 4 goals 4 assists

Madrid
Kroos 5 goals 8 assists
Modric 5 goals 5 assists
Valverde 4 goals 4 assists

It's also odd that without even mentioning Ozil in my post, you assume I'm laying the blame on him. It's a problem across the entire midfield. Xhaka has 1 assist and no goals. 3 assists for Guendouzi but no goals. 1 goal for Ceballos and 2 assists. Torriera 2 goals and 1 assist. Willock at least has 4 goals but he's still very raw.

It's really not good enough from midfield or the forwards. We're not scoring enough goals and we need to address the attack in the next window because I don't think we can sort that out with coaching. We need better quality.

Well you did mention attacking midfield and hes the only one we have that can play there in fairness, wasn't a wild assumption on his part.
