Did Sims really try to come on the serious tip and reproach people for laughing at a "serious matter"?

At least them rich doctors got richer

You do realize this is Mass General Hospital right?

Along with Mayo Clinic, amongst the best of the best in USA, and also the world.

I doubt they need the money and if they are getting paid, Liverpool must have paid a hefty sum.

In any case, would be a pretty stupid move by a hospital of this calibre to risk its reputation for $$.

Are you serious?

You saying you can't pay a US specialist for a 'questionable' medical opinion? and you expect to be believed? .... come on get real ...

You do know that the John W Henry family foundation gave a $1 million grant to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston ... coincidence?

Far from helping Karius this will lead to even further piss-take from opposition fans ... he had a bad day ... get over it ... what's with the feckin' Dippers and there instance on being the 'victims' they lost to a far better team ... move on

I don't think you guys understand what institution you are talking about here.

This is Mass General affliated with Harvard Medical school.

Karius was looked at by a team and the head guy is a renowned traumatic brain injury specialist with over 300 peer reviewed research papers.

A team of doctors of this Calibre in an institution of this Calibre would be taking a huge risk to gamble with their own and the institution's reputation.

But even if he put aside all that, the question remains...why is Liverpool going to go through all this just for some scrub keeper and knowing he sucked and messed up?? Why even bother. If all this is not true then just drop him and move on.

If staged, iit also makes their own team doctors look like complete idiots....that they couldn't detect a concussion of this magnitude.

Yeah there's no incentive for Liverpool to stage this.

If Karius himself did it then maybe, but it's so daft that it can't possibly be staged

The player has to report it if he's had a blow to the head and no one noticed. Do they not get briefed on this sort of thing?

If Donald trumps 'doctor' signed him off as the peak of physical health at 200 pounds, anything is possible if you have the money.

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos says an initial "arm grab" by Mohamed Salah led to the Liverpool forward's injury in the Champions League final.

Salah, 25, left the field in tears with a shoulder injury and has since had surgery on the problem.

Spaniard Ramos also collided with Reds goalkeeper Loris Karius, who suffered concussion in the 3-1 defeat in Kiev.

"I am only missing Roberto Firmino saying he got a cold because a drop of my sweat landed on him," said Ramos.

Ramos also claimed Salah could have played on in the match "if he got an injection for the second half".
Salah landed heavily on his shoulder midway through the first half against Real. Despite the injury he has been selected for Egypt's upcoming World Cup campaign in Russia.

Many Liverpool supporters blamed Ramos for the clash, which went unpunished by the referee, saying he inflicted a judo-style move on his opponent and a petition was raised calling for Fifa and Uefa to punish the Spain international.

An Egyptian lawyer also filed a lawsuit worth £874m against Ramos for the "physical and psychological harm" caused to the people of Egypt.

Two major errors by Karius helped Real to victory and doctors who assessed the German in the USA say it was "possible" the injury "would affect performance".

Ramos, 32, told AS: "Bloody hell, they have given this Salah thing a lot of attention. I didn't want to speak because everything is magnified.

"I see the play well, he grabs my arm first and I fell to the other side, the injury happened to the other arm and they said that I gave him a judo hold. After that the goalkeeper said I dazed him with a clash.

"I spoke with Salah through messages, he was quite good. He could have played if he got an injection for the second half, I have done it sometimes but when Ramos does something like this, it sticks a little bit more.

"I don't know if it is because you are at Madrid for so long and win for so long that people look at it a different way."

Yes, anything is possible but not very likely especially given what would be at stake for MGH and also given there is not much for Liverpool to gain from all this.

Not a great example btw.

Trump's doctor, Bornstein, is not getting anywhere close to Mass General Hospital. He has had to face three malpractice lawsuits. Trump surrounds himself with incompetent yes men that he can pay off. Just look at his dwindling team of lawyers.

Let me put it this way. It would downright moronic for a medical institution like Mass general hospital to take a payment and risk its reputation and standing in the world of medicine.
