1-2 FT

Almighty dust up at 0-1 with Williams lucky to stay on the pitch

He then scores a few minutes later

And then Lyon score

Koeman job is safe if he can hang on til sunday

Cologne fined £53,000, a suspended ban from selling tickets to 1 away game and have to pay reparations to Arsenal for the damage their nazi saluting thugs did to our stadium.

Serves them right.

Simeone to come to the Emirates? Oh how I wish that were more of a long-term proposition.

Simeone and Pep are about the same level. The only difference is after finishing without any trophies, with a £500m squad, Pep went on to spend £200m more, whereas Simeone - after losing those CL finals - still has to make-do with the same players.

Next summer sounds perfect. Zidane gets sacked. Real sign Wenger. Simeone leaves Atleti and signs for Arsenal. :crybaby:

Alexis and Ozil stay.

Spaletti is doing reasonably well at Inter, which makes an immenent reunion with Simeone unlikely. What it does do is give clubs interested in his services a boost to their chances of bringing Simeone in, should he indeed decide to part ways with Atlético.

Are we even interested? Not even remotely if Stan's words at last week's AGM are anything to go by.

Chelsea, however, have a visibly unsatisfied manager in Conte at the helm - if he doesn't turn things around quickly their mercenary-infested squad could promptly return to sulking mode like they did under Mourinho.

Thing is Wenger won't go to a big club. He will found out before his matchday 3 and possibly fired.

........ 1 - nil to The Arsenal

↑ He knows it too, which is explains why he is still at Arsenal where he now enjoys a low-pressure managerial position.

Low-pressure, compared to your average football manager, anyway.
