All time Greats

Postby Marsbar100 » Wed Jan 11, 2017 3:08 pm

Don't think there is a thread specifically relating to all time greats, whether its something inspiration they did, a great story or an unreal goal/skill that they did etc...

Seen thispiece from ronaldinho what a man

Cba reading al that but on goofy himself, anyone else think he was overrated?

Quality player no doubt but all time greatest? He's not in ronaldo, Cristiano, zidane or peles league.

I'd put him more in the next level with the likes of figo, cruyff, Eusebio, nedved etc

You can say he is overrated but you can't name a better striker so...

Also, how was he annoying?

R9 without knee injuries could've easily been the best ever

Was close to it despite having 1 working knee

Michael Schumacher was annoying

Can't explain why, he just was. Pete Sampras also. Same goes for Fat Ron.

If we are talking about ones peak level, Ronaldinho is the best and most talented ever.

However, if we look at consistency over the years, its Messi for sure.

ps: f**k barca.

Buffon, Maldini, Cannavaro, Beckenbauer, and Cafu all deserve a mention too, but defenders aren't glorified like attackers.

(Not going to mention Di Stefano, Puskas, and the other OG's as they were too long ago for me to even have enough relevant video to judge.)

I'd Buffon the greatest ever keeper?

Probably now. His longevity and consistency at the elite level gives him the edge over his rivals.

Still don't understand how some people were claiming Neuer is the best ever - and people were saying this three years ago ffs.
