The "Bollocks to International Football" thread

Postby UFGN » Sat Oct 01, 2016 2:08 pm

Post hear if you think it's all gone a bit "meh" and you just DGAS about who's picked for England, when they're playing or who they're playing against

Furthermore, post here if you DGAS about international football in general and think it's just an interruption to club football

And finally, post here if you would quite like the FA, Uefa and Fifa to kindly do one and get their nasty, corrupt claws out of the sport

Qatar. Bitch, please.

Most international games are boring, there is so much pressure playing for your country most players probably play with fear.

International tournemant are still without doubt the highest level and that's the opportunity for players to go down as immortals.

The euros was the worst in my lifetime completely ruined with the knew format,

Hard to get excited about England with all the failure in recent years, doesn't help that no one seems to have the balls to drop fatty.

Don't really care about England until we're at the tournaments because it gets fun then, qualifiers are dogshit and I cba to listen to the likes of Hoddle.

It has gone downhill in general though and I can't figure out why, just too much money doesn't seem to be a good enough reason, the best players back in 02, 06 etc. still got paid loads but WANTED to perform for their country.

International football is average level stuff. The Leagues ,CL are all higher level quality stuff.

International football is just 1 off matches and tournament. Its really only of interrest when teh likes of costa rica, greece, wales cause upsets. Apart from that overall level is meh- low.

The quicker the league gets back the better.

CBA about it. Want to see the Arsenal. That's all. Doesn't help we have some injury prone glass as well.

I'm pretty excited about Christian Pulisic. He looks like he may turn out to be the real deal. The last couple of USMNT matches I saw were encouraging.

Oh okay. Thanks. Well if Cripps supports England he shouldn't be talking shit. The US has fared far better in the last 2 world cups.
