He's one of the players that has to go. Let it happen.

I hope with this departure we can draw a line under this awful period where we've let players go for next to nothing—Ramsey, Alexis, Ozil, Mustafi, Sokratis, etc. We have to be more ruthless in our decision making and get fees for players if they're not going to sign new deals.

Sad how those transfers have panned out. Ozil should've been dealt with two yrs ago and Alexis should've been sold instead of the poor exchange. Ramsey saga leaves the worst taste of all. Here was a capable player willing to stay was pretty much forced out for nothing.
For Mustafi, we should arrange a proper sell and w/Papa it is ok. He didn't cost much. For his age and ability now, cannot expect much

Papa cost £18m and we barely even used him last season.

As overpriced as Mustafi was, he was a mainstay of our starting XI from 2016-2020.

Best of luck to him. Not his fault he cost £35 million but a reminder of how bad some of our recruitment has been. Sometimes looked good, other times looked like he'd swapped jobs with Sami Zayn.
Good old Arsenal, we're proud to say that name

Players that desperate to get away from Arteta that they'd cancel contracts 6 months early.

Not a good sign

It's a good sign when Mustafi leave Arsenal, regardless of the manager.
