Everton are taking a big gamble signing him, Allan & Doucoure for big fees
If it doesn’t work they’re looking at a bottom half finish with 3 aging players with no resale value on big wages

Had we kept Usmanov instead of Kroenke we might actually have some money to spend now instead of having to wait to sell players no one seems to want.

2020 James isn't the same as 2014 World Cup Hamesssss.
Sure, he's better than what Everton had in midfield last season, but he isn't going to turn them into a top 6-7 team.
