He's a central midfielder, we have Coquelin, Elneny, Xhaka, Cazorla, Ramsey and Wilshere all fighting it out for two central midfield places.

Yeah but will he take those League Cup spots ahead of the midfielders in out youth team?

Also, Youtube makes him look like the next Yaya so GET HYPE

Apperantly Kelechi Nwakali is doing really well for the team sitting top f the dutch second league. Yeah its not amazing....but for an 18 year old boy who came from Africa to be the leading player in the team while playing as central midfielder and dictating the play while not even speaking the language is impressive

dutch second league so i reckon it's about on par with the SPL

but at 18 going there and doing well is quite a big feat for an 18 year old fresh out of nigeria

Eerste Divisie aka Jupiler League (not to confused with Jupiler Pro League which is Belgium's highest division.)

It literally translates to ''First Division'', though it's the second highest division behind the Eredivisie.

Quality-wise more like the Irish league - though the type of football is less physical and leans more toward the technical/attacking side. High lines, negligible pressing, more space and time.

Ajax', Utrecht's and PSV's reserves (Jong Ajax/Jong Utrecht/Jong PSV) play in the Eerste Divisie and are not eligible to get promoted should they win the division title and are excluded from the Eredivisie promition play-offs. Their squads consist out of first team outcasts and academy graduates.

Many other Eredivisie clubs loan their players out to Eerste Divisie sides or to what they call "satellite clubs". For example Excelsior used to be a satellite club of Feyenoord for nearly 20 years until 2016.

The Eerste Divisie is basically packed with young players learning their trade. The average age is only 23.8 which is the lowest in Europe's divisions.
