Think at this point Mourinho should just take a break for a year or two like Klopp did, take a job with a team like PSG/Juventus/ACMilan when they become available bring the usual trophies home + the CL and retire on a high

I can see him being like Wenger and ferguason though managing into their 70s, if I had their money I would have retired by 50-55 and spend the years after that enjoying it

I hope he just crawls back under his rock and we are spared seeing him ever again.

simon jordan was suggesting that if jose won the cup final he would have had grounds to sue tottenham for unfair dismissal as his one job was pretty much to deliver a trophy and he would have done that. conte sue'd chelsea for unfair dismissal and levy would have been in legal trouble too, and would have had to pay out more if that were the case, hence why he acted now instead of the end of the season.

https://www.fourfourtwo.com/us/news/tottenham-transfer-news-jose-mourinho-sacked-due-to-fears-over-10-players-walking-out

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy reportedly fired Jose Mourinho because he was worried that keeping the manager would result in 10 first-team players leaving the club.

The Portuguese boss was dismissed on Monday after 17 months in charge and just days before Spurs’ League Cup final clash with Manchester City.

The timing of the decision took many by surprise, but Eurosport has revealed that Levy’s call was made with the summer transfer window in mind.

Levy felt he was at risk of up to 10 players requesting transfers in the summer if Mourinho stayed on.

Spurs and Chelsea both sacked their coaches for doing better than Arteta, seems like they have higher standard than us these days
