José Mourinho

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho could manage Arsenal when he leaves club... as he tells Piers Morgan he wants to stay in London

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has hinted that he may one day swap west London for north, and join city rivals Arsenal.

According to Arsenal fan - and notorious Arsene Wenger-hater - Piers Morgan, Mourinho wants to remain in London when he leaves Stamford Bridge.

And with few top jobs available in the capital, the Chelsea boss offered Morgan 'a glimmer of hope' that the Emirates Stadium may be his next destination.

'Let me put it like this: one day I will leave Chelsea and when I do I will continue living in London,' he said.

'There are a number of other opportunities for a manager in London - Fulham, QPR, West Ham, Spurs, the England national team... and Arsenal.'

Once Morgan had ruled out the teams without Champions League football, Mourinho seemed to agree with the Arsenal fan that only England, and the north London club, were reasonable options.

'So, Piers, we are left with two options, yes?' Mourinho continued. 'Arsenal and the England national team.'

'Patience. For now I have given you what you wanted - a glimmer of hope.'

f**k yes.

Sack Wenger now and try get him.

What better way to humiliate Wenger than to take over the club Wenger made his name at and lift the trophy Wenger never could?

Bring him home.

I would not watch an Arsenal game until he leaves if he ever became our manager

This. I can't stand the prick.

How are people saying they want Adebayor and Mourinho at our club on a Sunday please. Show some respect.

Serious question: would y'all prefer Wenger over Mourinho for a 3 year spell?

(Gotta weed out the people who don't care about winning trophies.)

Absolutely. This isn't to do with trophies, it's about morals and keeping in tradition with Arsenal Football Club. I would rather have Sol Campbell manage us than Jose Mourinho

I said before and I genuinely believe this he would have come here two years ago. He is envious of wengers job security. If he was going through what he is now he would be relaxed as he knows he isnt in danger of getting sacked.

When Wenger goes and he wants to come yes I would take him.

Clubs want managers who stick around and build things, Wenger is already working on a MkV side

No chance.

What I like about jose is he can adapt to who he's up against. Wenger plays the same way all the time. It's why Ferguson could beat us with 8 defenders in the side.

Jose can play defensively or attacking as his league winning Real Madrid side instil talked about to this day as the best ever.

Won the treble with a piss poor inter side who did f all before or after that.

His winning attitude by any means necessary is what we need. Not shite about cohesion andnshitnwe don't care about.

I think Maureen wants to stay long term. His won all the big leagues and managed Madrid etc. I think he loves London and would happily stay there. I think he might not be able to resist barca if they came calling but his history with them means it won't happen

Mourinho's personality and managerial style means he himself is unable to stay a club for long term
