Where does Kane go? Where will Jose go? If they follow through with banning players that compete in this competition from the World Cup.....it's such a can of worms and it will surely have a knock on effect in the transfer window.

Shame - Jose was taking them nowhere they can bring in Nagelsmann who would be a massive improvement.

Lost the FA Cup final against Conte's Chelsea in 2018.

mason confirmed until end of season

just doesnt make sense. why sack jose 1 week before a final? and no replacement lined up?

must have been some sort of bust up or disagreement between him and levy or the squad surely.

Why? because now is when you start planning for next season ... you want the old guy out and the new guy involved as soon as possible (even if you don't officially announce him) and if he had lost the players then sacking him might just give them the boost needed next week ... but I doubt it.

Wouldn't surprise me if Levy sacked him because, cheap as that trophy is, he would have been the first manager to bring them a trophy in 13 years.

Maybe he didn't want to give him that.

Levy has been starstruck by Jose since he arrived. The official tweet from the Spurs account was very diplomatic and polite; I don't recall Chelsea and Utd's being that nice. Then again, those clubs were a lot lower down in the table when he left.

I don't see Mourinho being able to win against this Pep side. They're definitely beatable, but outside of Kane, the whole Spurs team seemed unhappy and deflated, aka the Mourinho effect.

The big problem is that if Jose's gone, they may already have a new guy ready to come on board. Rumour is that it's Nagelsmann. RB Leipzig may be against the Super League, but Nagelsmann himself? Who knows?
