Poor workers, it doesn't work out for them either way. Expect Qatar to deport them, or to make them work on other, just as dangerous projects, as revenge.

The only Gulf country with actual labour laws is the UAE. If they wanted it in the Gulf, it would be the best spot.

In the best interest Qatar should be stripped and possibly make it a 'Middle East' World Cup shared by nations with fair working rights.

Russia needs to keep their world cup though, seriously its World War 3 if the lose it! Putin ain't gonna let the United States and the FBI take his World Cup away for nothing.

England can forget about a World Cup anytime soon, nobody in FIFA likes them to vote for them.

So we invent the game they love, and this is how they repay us? IFAB should never have given so much voting power to FIFA.

England invented professional football in it's modern terms.

Football as a game was invented a millennia ago, it was probably around at the dawn of time. The earliest commercial interpretations where in China while the Incas used to play football with the decapitated heads of their enemies as the ball.

FIFA officials hate England because of the arrogance shown by English officals

How FIFA works is simple,'You scratch my back, i'll scratch your back'. English officials appointed to FIFA don't participate in all the corruption as they think they are too good for all of it and are seen as arrogant by most, also a few countries are unhappy with issues going back many decades ago, more to do with Britain than anything,

England prob don't have the backing like Russia and Qatar to go corrupt style in terms of winning a bid.

In terms of taking corrupt votes, the truth its a lot easier to go do that with African and south american countries. With the British press they prob don't even risk going to England for corrupt support

They won't. They'll sneakily fry something else - far more worse. It won't be apparent. It'll be insidious.

The 2018 World Cup should go to England or Belgium/ Netherlands.

2022 to Australia.

The 2022 World Cup in Qatar will start on Monday, Nov. 21, kicking off a 28-day tournament that will finish on Sunday, Dec. 18.

FIFA's executive committee confirmed the 2022 dates on Friday, six months after picking Dec. 18 -- Qatar's national holiday -- for the final.

Delaying leagues.

Should keep the Winter break in England after that! Just move it on a few weeks.

It's what the plan has always been and what the Premier League planned for. They said they will start the season a week earlier every year for a few years or something like that.

What else would they do? Carry the season on?
