For real though, that ain't cool. Wonder why?

We don't do bribes, that's why. We should have been hosting it tomorrow especially given the independent analysis said our bid was the best, yet all that oil money talks louder than the inventors of football and the English sense of fair play.

Or maybe it's cause last time you hosted you won it, and that is a bit fishy, so FIFA doesn't want you guys to cheat again! :frogwink:

No cheating involved, just the honesty and integrity of good russian officials. How times have changed!

By the way, I didn't see USA on the list of past winners......

Imagine your own team being so shit you resort to mocking USA.

Loooool

How can you be so shit at the sport you invented?

Literally have nothing to show for it besides a single WC won in the middle of the 20th century.

Ludicrous.

Wasn't that over 20 years ago?

1994 which in world cup terms is only 6 tournaments ago

Its a ludicrious decision and FIFA chase the money once more instead of convenience. Morocco was the better bid, better for the fans but no lets have the world cup in a country which is millions of miles away from anywhere, stupid kick off times

Failing that, why isn't it in Europe? We haven't had a proper once since 2006 ffs

England haven't had one since 1966 dear god and our stadia destroys everyones

Like how China and India have over 1 billion people to pick from and are still shit?

Everyone knows America has always been shit at football.

:dontknow:

But still, imagine inventing a sport and being irrelevant. Knocked out of the last major tournament by a country with a population of 330k.

Your country's football philosophy consists of showing pashun, facking running abat and getting stuck in. 100% of English coaches and pundits are f***ing dolts, looooool.

All you have to do is look at the prevailing attitude of the English media and pundits towards Ozil to see this.

Truly a nation of plebs.

True sign of an American, folks - trying way too hard to put down the English without realising we're the most depreciating people on earth and are already aware of our shortcomings when it comes to football, which we regularly revel in/ poke fun at ourselves. You need to chill a bit and realise you're just making yourself look silly by trying to make us feel bad about something we've accepted and almost embraced over the last 20-30 years or so.

Also I'd sooner be part of this nation of plebs as opposed to whatever the f*ck the US is right now.

You'll have to explain this as I have no clue what you're on about.

without realising we're the most depreciating people on earth

I am well aware of this given I'm half English and have lived in London a little less than half my life, thank you.

are already aware of our shortcomings when it comes to football

You mean like America? Who everyone knows has been and always will be shit?

You need to chill a bit and realise you're just making yourself look silly by trying to make us feel bad

Implying I am taking any of this seriously, lool.

I'm just giving the banter back to the posters who kicked it off. I do not like the US national team at all and was ecstatic when they didn't qualify as we have the cringiest bandwagon fanbase in the world when it comes down to the World Cup.

Also I'd sooner be part of this nation of plebs as opposed to whatever the f*ck the US is right now.

You don't think England is full of plebs when it comes to football?

You are the one who needs to chill and stop taking everything so seriously, it's not that deep.

Bringing up the political climate when people are shooting the shit about football teams. Sake.
