Came up against Ramsey in both the Euro qualifiers and the finals themselves and Ramsey was the better player in both games
It was ramseys set peice that lead to the misjudged back header from nainggolan that bale scored from.
And although nainggolan scored a cracker at the euros it was ramseys assists that were a greater influence on the game

Radja Nainggolan

Great, another forward thinking CM who'd ideally want to play 'in the hole'.

We need a DM ffs!
Raya/Ramsdale
White/Tomiyasu--Saliba/Timber--Gabriel/Kiwior--???/Zinchenko
???/Jorginho
Odegaard/Smith Rowe----Rice/???
Saka/Jesus-------------------Martinelli/Trossard

Has over 300 career games as CM/DM.

Tons of holding mids at Roma, but a serious lack of quality midfielders who can perform in the final third. Nainggolan just happens to be the most complete of them all so Spaletti uses him in a more advanced position.

Imagine Strootman or De Rossi behind the striker... would be comical to see.

Ramsey is the better player overall.

Wouldn't say no though. Better than Xhaka and santi.
