Give kolasinac the no.5 shirt unless Gibbs is defo going.

Don't want some scrub having it.

We shouldn't give the #5 to a left wing-back. For centre-backs only.

Only a good riddance if a superior player is brought in - until then it's a downgrade both in quality and quantity.

Yep. I'm finding it funny that people are acting like we've just sold Jenkinson.

Davinson Sanchez would have been a good transfer

All the best, Gabriel. Very passionate player

We still have the depth: Koscielny, Mustafi, Holding, Mertesacker, Chambers, Monreal, Bielik and even Kolasinac. I'd still prefer loaning out Chambers and buying someone like Van Dijk , but our current defensive options aren't much worse after Gabriel leaving. He was only a squad rotation option and we have some of them at a very similar level

+1

Injuries are a huge part of any Central defender's career due to the nature of the job and hence a club needs to have maximum cover in that department.

We will be playing a sh*t load of games this year and i do not fathom how we are going to deal with departures of Ox and Gabriel if we do not have good replacements in place.

Void left by any player can be fulfilled as long as there is an equal/better player is brought in as replacement. Currently we have signed only Lacazette and Kolasinac. We need a CM. If Ox and Gabriel leave then we will need a Wing Back and a Defender. Hopefully we have replacements sorted out because we might end up with a wafer thin depth in certain areas.
