You may be happy but I think he got the last laugh here.

3rd place La Liga, competing team, based in sunny Valencia Spain, in a team where his physicality and tenacity compared to the usual lot out there should make him look good,
4.5 yr contract.

If I were him I'd be over the fkin moon to get out of Arsenal for Valencia FC, considering no matter how sh*t we are he was never likely to gain his place back from two seasons ago when he was a starter.

Coquelin is actually a decent player ......... if you want a DM, if your expecting some Xabi Alonso or Pirlo then you'll be disappointed, but if a DM is what your after you could do worse.

He's been on the bench for 2 seasons now, he's hardly going to walk into the Valencia XI. Still, damn good move for him, fully expected him to end up at a mid table Ligue 1 team.

Problem with Coq was his passing. Can’t be that poor on the ball when you’re playing in the top flight in England. I honestly thought charlton was his level.

Massive chance for AMN in his preferred central role once Kola & Monreal are fit again

He was doing fine getting rave reviews, then from when we lost cazorla it was like he was expected to become offensive, just went downhill from there, good player on his day, massive heart and he is versatile could have provided bellerin with some competition, all squads can do with this sort of player.

If we replaced him with top player great, looks like we aren't though.

Wenger confirmed it.

He was asked if he plans to replace Coquelin.

"The best way to replace is getting Ramsey and Ozil back."

Exactly. Sad to see him go. Most ability in defending of all our.midfielders. beast

Apparently we got £22m for him???

I have to say if that's the case, that's a good sale on our behalf, I'm surprised Valencia took it for that much.

Like I said, they really wanted the Coq to be a hard presence in midfield #HereAllWeek

This.

Our sales make even less sense than our purchases half the time

Gone for 12 million + 10 million based on him scoring 10 goals or so

Guess that 10 million is never happening then
