We can't even sell our squad players to mid table Spanish teams.

Wenger must be embarrassed by now, his weeks just getting better and better.

Next thing you know Brighton will come in for Xhaka ........ on loan.

Says it all...

But West Ham are premier league rivals. We all play in the same league. It would have been another thing if it said “Arsenals top 4 or title rivals / contenders.

Anyone see Manchester City's Premier League rivals West Ham in an article anywhere? Or Chelsea?

Yes

Mohamed Bouhafsi, so google tells me he's a journo.

Considering no one else in the world is reporting this deal I an dubious to say the least.

Why would they jump from a loan only to a 4.5 year contract?

It's £12m spread over 4 years. Good lord how bad are we at negotiating. That director football can;t get her quickly enough...

It was only two seasons ago most on here and Wenger himself were saying if we'd bough Coq for £40m it would have been a bargain...

Tbf when Coquelin is motivated and on form .......... £12m over 4 years is day light robbery.

I'm happy for him anyway, I think he'll be a great fit over in Valencia.

He's tenacity will really be highlighted over in Spain and they'll appreciate his attributes.

We should have kept, good player to come in in big games just to shore things up, defence was a mess against liverpool and chelsea recent home games, tonight in a war he should be playing.
