Not bad for a player who made two senior apps for us

10M? Now I understand why the club wants to sell him. It's an awesome deal.

Selling Bielik with 0 PL minutes for £10m is a good deal. . Atleast we're selling our reserve players for decent fees now like Liverpool (Solanke, Ward)

Good price.

He's only at that level at the moment, so good luck to him.

Krystian Bielik will have a medical at Derby County tomorrow before signing a five-year deal for a fee in the region of £10m, while his former club Legia Warsaw will receive £500k as part of their sell-on clause. [@wlodar85] #afc

Not bad business for 10m, but would have liked to have a buy back clause

Worth noting we did pay €2.25m to buy him from Legia Warsaw, which is more than the €2m Transfermarkt currently value him at.

Ultimately, I think most of us would agree that we've done good business selling him for approximately a fivevold of his estimated market value.

Good luck to him.

Yes, I can't believe we got £10m for him either.

In business terms, that's Martinelli's and Ceballos' fees covered. More or less.

Yep, these deals add up. I've referenced Liverpool and their transfer policy a lot recently, but their ability to to sell the likes of Solanke (£19m), Ings (£18m) and Ward (£12.5m) is integral to their success. We need to get better at it and it's encouraging to see us fetch this sort of money for a young player who's only proven at League One level.

What a great deal, good money for a fairly nothing player who never even played for us significantly. Bye bye.
