They will not buy cb. They have kos, mustafi and sok. Holding is injured for a while. The reason they cant let go kos who is way past it is because they have no money to buy players

And that’s the problem. They are investing in Saliba and loaning him back and expecting Kos to cover for another year. I don’t understand why we need to buy another young and inexperienced CB when we have Holding, Mavro and Bielik on the books. For 30 mil + the sale of Mustafi and Chambers we could bring in a top class starting CB.

Yep they really screwed up. You have a terrible defense and limited budget and you spend 30 million on 18 year old you cant use for a year. Its really terrible and kos will have figbt on his hands to leave. Kos is finished and mustafi wint survive another season mentally as the manager and fans has no faith in him

Please remember this when you are tearing into Emery for the fundamental errors that mustafi and co make during games, on our way to dropping points at various stages in this season.

Kos is done, get rid, move on. Any idea of using him this coming season is ridiculous. Move on half of these players.

To clarify.... this is not a welfare issue. A player can retire from football at any time if they feel unable to continue playing.

This is a player who wants to be excused the terms of his contract to continue his career at another club

If he was layed up on a treatment table for the whole of next season would he excuse us of paying his wages? No? Thought not

I hope a solution is found but he is not a victim in this

Are you having trouble reading? I am advocating we sell Mustafi and Chambers and add the 30 mil we are spending on Saliba to buy a starting CB.

He's definitely not the victim and not sure how it's being twisted to sound like he in on this forum. I don't agree with airing dirty laundry but we're a club that usual cover up this sort of story with an 'injury' claim and that's exactly how these players get a away with this unblemished reputation.

Whatever has gone on this sounds like a clear breach of contract - whilst I may have sympathy for Kos's desire to leave his actions have lost that - we need to take a stand, stick him in the under 23's for the season ... fine him two weeks wages as often as possible and make it very clear we are no longer a club that lets our players walk all over us ... time for the new management team to show their steel.

This might be just the opportunity we need to turn over a new leaf ....

Time to get tough, what about the club paying his wages when he was on the sick? I don't know why people feel sorry for him he has been well paid for doing his job (even when off sick) Just another mercenary, sell and move on.

All this talk about the club respecting Koscielny or vice versa. What about Koscielny respecting the fans? Surely he knows that if he forces a move he's cursing us with yet another season of first team Mustafi... I don't think i could survive that. Does he have no empathy?
