Got to say, disappointed there wasn't more interest in this.

Watched it, but just like the community shield, it's a glorified friendly. Denis Suarez wasn't bad at all but he's no Rakitic. Mbia's physical presence was missed too. Real looked good but not that impressive, 2nd goal shouldn't have gone in.

I thought Kroos was quite impressive. I think he completed 73 of his 76/77 passes which is outstanding. Modric-Kroos in tandem will be just amazing to watch.

James looked a fish out of water but he'll eventually settle in and be a good player for them - he's quite a talent although I think he's been overhyped quite a bit lately due to his World Cup performances - and both Bale and Ronaldo are just out of this world.
