Needed to come further off his line in order to narrow the angle and a yard further to his right. He didn't and realised he wasn't getting anywhere near the ball so figured he might as well pull back.

Sels hasn't been the same since his move to Newcastle.

What I thought.

Looks like he slips a little on his right foot also.

Great goal either way.

Good to see him move out on loan to a foreign side rather than dipping in and out of the English leagues. Highly unlikely he has a future at Arsenal but I hope he has a good loan spell so he gets a decent move somewhere else.

Gone out on loan to so many clubs and hasn't impressed any of them at 22 you can see if a players got it and he definitely don't. Get rid.

I recall seeing something last year where this knob crashed his £60,000 Range Rover.

The thing that struck me most from the story was how the f**k can this useless waste of space afford a f***ing £60k car?

Then I read that we pay him £30k a week. Thirty f***ing grand a week! Him!

Just get rid of all of this useless dross. f***ing leeching off the club and incapable of giving anything back. And Wenger is to blame for keeping all this crap.

He's actually done very well for them.

Will be interesting to see what the new manager does with him.

He's definitely got a bit about him but it's hard to tell how far he can really go

Let's not forget (I hate to being one of the scum up) that Kane was pretty dog shit when he was on loan.

He’s 22 now, and his record as a striker is abysmal.

Arsenal P4 G0
Brentford P4 G0
Coventry P6 G0
Forest P7 G0
Hull P36 G3
Brighton P10 G0
St Triden P13 G5

Another startling fact s that at 22 he has made a total of 69 first team appearances since his pro debut aged 17.

A lousy 13 appearances per year. Why would any professional footballer be happy to put up with that? Akpom is typical of a younger generation of footballers who don’t put a high price on actually playing football. They are just happy to rake in the cash and do nothing. I can’t get my head around that at all.

Officially joined PAOK recently.

Was an unused substitute in PAOK's impressive CL qualifier victory over Spartak Moscow yesterday.

If only we were playing Panionios and Aris Thessaloniki every week. He'd have been superb.

Seems like he's happy over there and will pick up a league medal. Wish him the best of luck. Let the man live.
