Wenger will also give 20-year-old forward Chuba Akpom a chance at Emirates Stadium next season, with the England Under-21 international impressing on loan at Hull City.(Goal.com)

That's our striker for next season.

Don't understand why he didn't make the bench ahead of Jeff considering we had no other CF available the game was crying out for another CF option.

Brentford and Villa are both interested in taking him on loan, will be interesting so see who he goes for considering he's played on loan for Brentford before and under Steve Bruce for hull last season.

Whilst he only would of only played the carping cup games and a few minutes here and there he's only just returned from a back injury that's been going on for months to be fair.

Should of loaned him out at the start of the season though.

Set to join Brighton on loan today apparently, two promotions in two years won't look bad for his cv, will he get games though that's the real question.

Edit: official now

Leeds United are favourites to sign Chuba Akpom, according to the bookies.

Arsenal player Akpom spent the second half of last season on loan at Brighton.

The 21-year-old has so far been fielded out on loan five times since earning a professional contract with Arsenal in 2013.

And Ladbrokes claim Akpom is on Leeds’ radar, with the bookmakers pricing them at 7/4 favourites ahead of Hull to sign the striker.

He won't make it here. Good luck elsewhere, Chuba

Lol

His claim to fame is scoring the hat trick which stopped Wenger buying a new striker. And he still didn't play lol

Both nowhere near the level required to even have an average Arsenal career. It happens, lets hope Mavididi is a level above.
