18-year-old Nigerian defensive midfield prodigy Wilfred Ndidi.

Ball speed clocked at 111 km/h. Big future.

1993's UEFA Cup Winners' Cup finalists, Royal Antwerp crowned Champions and get promoted to the first division after a 14-year absence.

Several British/Irish then-young players had spells there; Jonny Evans, Darron Gibson, Ryan Shawcross, Fraizer Campbell, John O'Shea, Danny Simpson and John Bostock to name a few.

I'm not a fan, but it's good to see the 'Great Old' back in the top division where they belong. Even if it's just because they are the oldest Belgian football club (1880) and their registration number is 1. Oldest football club, because as a sports association KAA Gent are the oldest (1864).

Nice to hear.
They also had the pleasure to get eliminated by the GOAT club two years in a row 88/89 1.Round and 89/90 in the UEFA-Cup quarter-finals.

Belgian league kicked off tonight, my team, champions last year, KRC Genk kicked off the season VS Kortijk. 0-1 down halftime, got the 1-1. Than our new transfer Ianis Hagi, son of THE Hagi, came on the pitch, 120 seconds later scores the 2-1 winning goal (his first touch) What a Guy!

Unreal goal imo, 2 minutes on the pitch, this as first ball touch.

I heard that Nasri signed for Anderlecht...I'd be curious to see him playing there

Becomes the first league to be cancelled. Standings will remain as they are. Club Bruges will be champions
