messi scored 37 goals and got 9 assists in possibly the most disorganised and shit barca team hes ever been in. in the same team neymar managed to get 13 goals and 11 assists

Neymar started the comeback with this when entire Barca gave up after Cavanis goal.

It sounds stupid looking at stats but I think messi has declined due to lost pace, he did little vs psg or juve, i know he did well vs Madrid but I think there has been a clear fall in levels in him over the last few years.

He is still messi the 2nd best player in the world atm but I think a motivated neymar now out of messis shadow will be able to surpass him this season, the psg game where he was the star makes me think that.

Ligue 1 is still an average league which got torn to shreds by a teenage Hazard again and again.

The average domestic team isn't much of a test for Neymar, just like it wasn't much of a test for Hazard who didn't have the luxury of playing for the richest club in the world and still fired Lille to the league title.

CL and World Cup will be the real yardstick.

Messi has been carrying Barca on his back for over two seasons now. Most people watched the PSG game only and are too quick to form an assessment. Hilarious.

Forget Hazard. Gervinho destroyed Ligue 1.

Neymar won't have Messi to overshadow him anymore, but he also won't have Messi to grab all eyes during games - something that has enabled Neymar to score countless times. Works both ways.

The World Cup should be exciting next year though: Brazil, Germany, France, and Messi.

Paris St-Germain's Brazil forward Neymar, 26, would rather move to Chelsea or Arsenal than one of the Manchester clubs. (Express)

Bring him home

Oh yeh, he'd really move here and work under Emery again, thats if Emery would even sanction the deal, sure. Just the usual tabloid bollocks.
